Kanebogen Church


Kanebogen Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Harstad Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. It is located in the Kanebogen area of the town of Harstad on the island of Hinnøya. It is the church for the Kanebogen parish which is part of the Trondenes prosti in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The white, wooden church was built in a rectangular style in 1999 by the architects Ivar Tolo and Jim Myrstad. The church seats about 400 people. The church was built to replace the old Fredly Chapel that burned down in 1984.
