Karin Jacobs
Karin Jacobs is a German physicist. She is a professor at the Saarland University.Life
Jacobs studied physics at the University of Konstanz and received her doctorate in 1997 from the very same university. Since 2003, she is a university professor at the Saarland University. Since 2004, she is a fellow of the Leibniz Institute for New Materials.Research

Jabobs is a member of the Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur. She gave the Beller Lecture of the American Physical Society in 2015. Since 2016, she is a member of the German Council of Science and Humanities.
