Karnal railway station


Karnal Railway Station was constructed in year 1892 A.D. by Britishers. KARNAL was a British Cantonment from year 1800 A.D. till year 1845 A.D. The vintage historical Karnal railway station is located on the main Delhi-Panipat-Karnal-Ambala-Kalka line also called DUK route. This is a class "A" category station. It is located in the Indian state of Haryana. It serves Karnal district region and surrounding areas. Karnal nearby surrounding stations in South direction are Bazida Jatan, Gharaunda, Kohand, Babarpur, Panipat jn towards Delhi / New Delhi side, while in north direction these are Bhaini Khurd, Taraori, Nilokheri, Amin, Kurukshetra jn towards Ambala Cantonment, Amritsar, Chandigarh side. Karnal Railway Station will soon become a Railway Junction via new Greenfield Karnal-YamunaNagar railway line via Indri, Ladwa, Radaur, Daamla, Jagadhari Workshop railway station, once the Detailed Project Report report which has been duly approved by the Haryana State Government & has been submitted on 03 September 2019 to Indian Railway Board, Ministry of Railways, gets duly approved.
