The community's name is a corruption of Taylor, the name of a local rancher.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there were 64 people, 29 households, and 18 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 98.7 people per square mile. There were 32 housing units at an average density of 49.3/sq mi. The racial makeup of the CDP was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.12% of the population.
