Kelly-Moore Paints
Kelly-Moore Paints is a paint manufacturing company founded in San Carlos, California in 1946 by William Kelly and William Moore. It has stores located in California, Texas, Oklahoma, and Nevada. Hurst, Texas is their only manufacturing plant.
Kelly-Moore also owns Capital Insurance Group, a regional insurer, that is headquartered in Monterey, California. Due to challenges in the Colorado market, Kelly-Moore sold some stores and closed others, and exited the market. Also in late 2008, the Seattle plant was closed.
