Kendall Central School District


The Kendall Central School District is a public school district in New York State that serves approximately 662 students in the town of Kendall and portions of the towns of Carlton, Kent and Murray in Orleans County; and portions of the towns of Clarkson and Hamlin in Monroe County, with over 150 employees and an operating budget of $14 million.
The average class size is about 55 students and the student-teacher ratio is 16:1, 23:1.
The smallest class size in school history was the AP Calculus class during the 2017 school year, which had 2 students.
Julie Christensen is the Superintendent of Schools. She was formerly Assistant Superintendent at the Gates Chili Central School District.

Board of education

The Board of Education consists of 6 members who serve rotating 5-year terms. Elections are held each May for board members and to vote on the School District Budget.
