Kentucky Route 362


Kentucky Route 362 is a east–west highway running from Pewee Valley and ends in an unincorporated area in Shelby County.
It begins at KY 22 in Pewee Valley. It crosses into Shelby County, Kentucky and terminates at KY 53.

Route description

KY 362 begins at an intersection with KY 22 in Pewee Valley, Oldham County, heading southeast on two-lane undivided Central Avenue. The road passes through wooded residential areas, turning southwest briefly before heading back to the southeast. The route turns southwest onto Mt. Mercy Drive and follows a CSX railroad line prior to turning southeast to cross the railroad tracks and immediately intersect KY 146. Here, KY 362 turns southwest to form a brief concurrency with KY 146 before splitting southeast onto Ash Avenue. The road heads through more residential areas and leaves Pewee Valley. The route continues into a mix of farmland and woodland with some homes.
KY 362 enters Shelby County and continues east-southeast through more rural areas, passing to the south of the Kentucky Correctional Institute for Women. The route comes to an intersection with the northern terminus of KY 1531 and turns northeast onto Aiken Road. The road passes more farms and woods with some residential development and reaches a junction with the southern terminus of KY 1408. Following this, KY 362 continues east through more agricultural areas with some homes. Farther east, the road passes through a mix of farmland and woodland and intersects the northern terminus of KY 1848. Here, the route heads east-northeast through farm fields with some residences and reaches a junction with the southern terminus of KY 1315. KY 362 curves east and continues to its terminus at KY 53.
