Keon Alexander


Keon Alexander is a Canadian actor. He is best known for playing the roles of Marco Inaros in Amazon’s The Expanse, Rami Said in FX’s Tyrant and Dominick Baptiste in Impulse, a teleportation drama series from Doug Liman.

Career

Alexander's early roles included a guest appearance in an episode of Flashpoint and a six-episode stint in the television adaptation of Bloodletting & Miraculous Cures, playing the part of Sri. This was followed by his first film role in 2011, in Circumstance, which won the Audience Award: Dramatic at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and was ranked one of the 50 best movies of 2011 by Paste Magazine.
Keon was named one of Canada’s Rising Stars by the Toronto International Film Festival in 2011.
Over the next few years, Alexander appeared in many TV series—including Murdoch Mysteries, Republic of Doyle, Legends and Remedy —before landing the Recurring Role of Rami Said in FX’s Tyrant, in which he appeared in the 2nd and 3rd Seasons from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, he also played the role of "Starman" in the music video for .
Aside from other film and television appearances, Alexander has had two further significant Recurring Roles: Dominick Baptiste in the television series Impulse from acclaimed action director Doug Liman; and Marco Inaros in the critically acclaimed science fiction series, The Expanse. As of season 5, he will become a series regular on The Expanse.
