Kevin Beardmore


Kevin Beardmore is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. He played at representative level for Great Britain, England and Yorkshire, and at club level for Castleford, as a or, i.e. number 9, or, 8 or 10.

International honours

Kevin Beardmore won a cap for England while at Castleford in 1984 against Wales, and won caps for Great Britain while at Castleford in 1984 against New Zealand, in 1987 against France, in 1988 against France, Papua New Guinea, France, and New Zealand, in 1989 against France, and New Zealand, and in 1990 against France.
Beardmore was selected to go on the 1988 Great Britain Lions tour of Australasia.

County honours

Kevin Beardmore won caps for Yorkshire while at Castleford, he played in the 16-10 victory over Lancashire at Wigan's stadium on 16 September 1987, the 24-14 Lancashire at Leeds' stadium on 21 September 1988, and the 56-12 Lancashire at Wigan's stadium on 20 September 1989.
