Kevin King (footballer)


Kevin King is a Jamaican footballer who currently plays for FC Tucson of the USL Premier Development League.

Career

College

King was part of the youth setup at Jamaican club Santos United before moving to the United States to play college soccer at Tyler Junior College, where he was named to the 2002 NSCAA Junior College Men's All-America team. He transferred to University of South Florida as a junior in 2003.

Professional

King began his professional career in Jamaica, playing for Tivoli Gardens and Harbour View in the Jamaican National Premier League, and helping Harbour View win the JNPL and the CFU Club Championship in 2007, before signing for Crystal Palace Baltimore in the USL Second Division in 2008.
He played 12 games for Baltimore, and scored one goal in Lamar Hunt US Open Cup second round win against Harrisburg City Islanders on 23 June, before returning to Jamaica at the end of the season to play for Arnett Gardens.
King signed for the Real Maryland Monarchs towards the end of 2009, and scored 2 goals in 2 games for the team.

International

King has played for the Jamaican U-17 and U-20 national teams, but has never played for the senior side.
