Khadal State
Khadal is a town and former minor Princely state in Gujarat, western India.History
Khadal was a Fourth Class princely state and taluka. In 1931, it encompassed an area of eight square miles in Mahi Kantha, ruled by Makwana Kolis, claiming descent from the Jahla clan of Rajputs, who had been converted to Islam by Mahmud Begada. In November 1922, the ruler was invested with taluka powers, which were augmented in 1929. At that time, the Thakor had two sons.
It had a combined population of 2,215 in 1901, yielding a state revenue of 16,450 Rupees, paying tributes of 1,751 Rupees to the Gaekwad Baroda State and 250 Rupees to Attarsumba.
