King, Queen, Knave (film)


King, Queen, Knave is a 1972 West German comedy film directed by Jerzy Skolimowski, based on the novel of the same name by Vladimir Nabokov. It was entered into the 1972 Cannes Film Festival.
It was shot at the Bavaria Studios in Munich and on location in London. The film's sets were designed by the art director Rolf Zehetbauer.

Plot

The film follows a young man named Frank, who comes to live with his Uncle and Aunt. Slowly, he starts to fantasize about a relationship with his Aunt Martha.
