Kirsten Engel


Kirsten Engel is an American attorney and a Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives elected to represent District 10 in 2016. She is also a law professor at the University of Arizona.

Education and career

Engel graduated magna cum laude from Brown University in 1983 and Northwestern University School of Law in 1986. After law school Engel clerked for Judge Myron H. Bright of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Engel worked for the EPA and was an assistant attorney general in the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office until 2005.
