Knut Berg
Knut Berg was a Norwegian art historian and museologist.
He was born in Oslo to Arno Berg and Signe Mowinckel Larsen. Berg was assigned with the National Gallery of Norway for thirty years, and served as director of the museum for 22 years, from 1973 to 1995. His works include the 7-volume Norges kunsthistorie and Norges malerkunst, and he was project leader for Norsk Kunstnerleksikon, jointly with Stephan Tschudi-Madsen.
