Kona Gold Stakes


The Kona Gold Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race run annually at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. The Grade II event is open to horses aged three and up, willing to race six and one half furlongs on the dirt. It carries a purse of $200,000.
Originally this event was called the Potrero Grande Handicap and it was rename in 2014 to the Kona Gold Stakes.
