Kota Shrine (Niigata)

Kota Shrine is the Japanese Shinto shrine in Jōetsu, Niigata Prefecture.

History

Kota was one of the chief Shinto shrines of the old Echigo Province. It serves today as one of the ichinomiya of Niigata Prefecture. The enshrined kami are:
