Kralovice


Kralovice is a town in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 3,500 inhabitants. The town is situated about north-east of Plzeň. Part of the town is also the pilgrimage site in Mariánská Týnice.
Kralovice is also a Municipality with Extended Competence.

History

Until 1918, the town was part of the Austrian monarchy, head of the Kralowitz – Kralovice district, one of the 94 Bezirkshauptmannschaften in Bohemia.
A post-office was opened in 1851.
