Krishna University was established in Machilipatnam Krishna district Andhra Pradesh, India, in 2008.
It was established by the state of Andhra Pradesh. Facilities include laboratories, internet, reading room, guest house, and extra-curricular activities. It provides all degree courses like Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts and professional courses like Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Electronics and Communication engineering. It also consists of Master courses.

1) Computer science engineering department.
2) Electronics and communication engineering department.
3) Mechanical engineering department.
4) Civil engineering department.
There are four libraries for each department and one central library for whole University.
There is good public transport from Machilipatnam.
The intake of students will be done by AP EAMCET based on the EAMCET rank, +2 grades etc.
