Léon Geismar


Léon Geismar - French colonial administrator (1895-1944). He was born on July 15, 1895 in Dambach-la-Ville and died on May 11, 1944 in Casablanca. He graduated from the École Nationale de la France d'Outre-Mer. He was awarded the Médaille militaire, the Knight of the Legion of Honour.
