La Voz (Mexican season 9)
The ninth season of La Voz premiered June 2, 2020 on Azteca Uno. Ricardo Montaner and Belinda returned for their second season as coaches. Meanwhile, María José and Christian Nodal joined the panel replacing Yahir and Lupillo Rivera. Last season's host :es:Jimena Pérez|Jimena Pérez did not return. She was replaced by Eddy Vilard and Sofía Aragón.
This season was originally scheduled for March 30, 2020 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, TV Azteca announced that the show was postponed until further notice to protect everyone's health. It was later announced the date was moved to June 2.
This season returned the block button, where a coach can prevent another coach from getting an artist they like. Each coach had two blocks through the whole blind auditions. This feature was first and last seen in the seventh season while still being produced by Televisa.

The Knockout Rounds started July 13. Unlike season eight where coaches had three steals, this season coaches can steal two losing artists from other coaches. Contestants who win their knockout or are stolen by another coach advance to The Battles.Color key:

The Battles
The Battle Round is scheduled to start August 3. The coaches can steal one losing artist from other coaches. Contestants who win their battle or are stolen by another coach will advance to the Top 3 Round.Color key:

Top 3
The Top 3 Round started on August 17, and consisted of two episodes. During this round each coach chooses their best three artists of their choice to advance to the live shows. After each individual performance, it is up to their coach if the artist deservs one of the three chairs. If they do, artist on Chair #3 is eliminated in favor of the new artist. If their coach decides not to give a chair they are automatically eliminated. Whichever artist remains in a chair until the end of this round advanced to the Quarterfinals.Live Shows

- Ángel Moré, Anilú Dávila, Aranda Brizelly auditioned in the eight season, but failed to turn any chairs.
- Nicholas Griffin participated season eight on Team Lupillo, but was eliminated in the Knockouts.
- Alonso Hernández participated in :es:Anexo:Segunda temporada de La Voz... México|season two on Team Paulina.
- Josafat participated as a singer on the second second of Pequeños Gigantes.
- Daniela Pedali participated in :es:Anexo:Cuarta temporada de La Voz... México|season four as part of Team Ricky, and then was stolen by Julión. She was eliminated in week one of the live shows.
- Fabiola Jaramillo participated in La Academia season seen.
- Arnoldo Tapia auditioned in season five but failed to turn any chairs.
- Kike Jiménez was named the runner-up of :es:Anexo:Cuarta temporada de La voz... México|season four, where he was part of Team Pausini.
