Lachlan Burr
Lachlan Burr is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a forward and for the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL.
He previously played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and the Gold Coast Titans in the National Rugby League. He played for the Leigh Centurions in the Betfred Super League, and on loan from Leigh at the Sheffield Eagles in the 2017 Kingstone Press Championship.Background
Burr was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
He played his junior football for the Revesby Heights Rhinos before being signed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. In 2008, Burr played for the New South Wales Under 16s team.Playing career
From 2009 to 2012, Burr played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs' NYC team.
In 2009 and 2010, Burr played for the New South Wales U18's team.
In 2010, Burr played for the Australian Schoolboys.
In 2013, Burr moved on to Canterbury's New South Wales Cup team and won the club's New South Wales Cup Player of the Year award.
In Round 25 of the 2013 NRL season, Burr made his NRL debut for Canterbury against the Penrith Panthers.
On 4 September 2014, Burr signed a 2-year contract with the Gold Coast Titans starting in 2015.
On 21 September 2014, Burr was named on the interchange bench in the 2014 New South Wales Cup Team of the Year.
In October 2016 he joined Bradford Bulls, but following their liquidation in January 2017 he signed a 1 Year Deal with Leigh Centurions.
In 2018, Burr signed back with his original club Canterbury-Bankstown and played in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW. He was named player of the year and was part of the Canterbury side which won the Intrust Super Premiership NSW grand final defeating Newtown 18-12 at Leichhardt Oval. The following week, Burr played for Canterbury in their NRL State Championship victory over Redcliffe at ANZ Stadium.
In 2019, Burr moved to Auckland to play with the New Zealand Warriors.
