Lambda Geminorum
Lambda Geminorum, Latinized from λ Geminorum, is a class A3, fourth-magnitude star in the constellation Gemini. It is located about 101 light-years from Earth.
Lambda Geminorum was a suspected variable star, but is now confirmed as constant. It is a main sequence star, larger and hotter than the sun. It has 2.8 times the radius of the Sun and is radiating 27 times the Sun's luminosity. It has 2.1 times the mass of the Sun and is around 800 million years old.
