Lane Fabian Jones is a multiplatform content company with offices in the UK and United States. The company was founded by David Lane and Michele Fabian Jones and is based in London, UK.

History

Lane Fabian Jones was founded in 1989 by David Lane and Michele Fabian Jones. The company produces entertainment digital film material for television, feature film and multiplatform broadcast, specialising in family entertainment and children's properties.
The company operates a CGI production process called LFJ-GEM, which was developed at Pinewood-Shepperton Studios in 2006.
In 2009, Lane Fabian Jones announced a formal partnership with original music composition and sound design company Machinehead, founded by Creative Director Stephen Dewey and Executive Producer Patty Chow.
The company is currently in pre-production on Romeo and Juliet 3D, a feature film adaptation of the William Shakespeare story to be directed by David Lane.

Key people

David Lane (Supervising Director)

is a British television and film director, best known for his association with series produced by Gerry Anderson's AP Films. Lane directed the early Thunderbirds TV shows and the feature films Thunderbirds Are Go and Thunderbird 6. He directed the flying unit on the Superman I, II, III, and V films. Lane also co-directed Muppet Treasure Island and went on to work at Pinewood Studios directing New Captain Scarlet and The Adventures of Orsum Island.
In 2007, Lane was elected into the Cult TV Hall of Fame.

Michele Fabian Jones (Company Director)

Michele Fabian Jones started her working life in the music and home video industry at PolyGram Records. Later she moved to MGM/UA where she launched the home video division. From there she moved into Film production and integrated special effects for Clearwater Film Inc, where she teamed up with David Lane. Fabian Jones' credits include Muppet Treasure Island, Terry Gilliam's The Brothers Grimm, New Captain Scarlet and Adventures on Orsum Island as well as mixed media commercials.
