Lassen Pack
The Lassen Pack is California's only known wolf family first confirmed within the state in the fall of 2016. The breeding male of the Lassen Pack is CA-08M, son of OR-7 from Oregon's Rogue Pack. The Lassen Pack is only the second pack of grey wolves within California since the 1920s, the former being the Shasta Pack whose location is currently unknown.
The Lassen Pack consists of 10 individuals made up by the two breeding pair, three yearlings from 2017 and five new pups confirmed on July 17, 2018. Most of the pack's activity has been tracked across the western parts of Lassen County, and some parts of Plumas County.
