Laura Les Laura Les music producer and singer-songwriter best known for being one half of the experimental electronic music duo 100 Gecs . Les grew up in Webster Groves , a suburb just outside of St. Louis, and began playing guitar as a teenager. Les is transgender, which contributed to her exploring different types of singing styles, including nightcore vocals which she now uses exclusively in her music . Les and her 100 Gecs groupmate, Dylan Brady , were named an "Artist You Need to Know" by Rolling Stone in 2019.Personal Life Not much is known about Laura's personal life .
