Laurel Airport (Costa Rica)


Laurel Airport is an airport serving the village of Laurel in Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica. The airport is among palm oil plantations, near the border with Panama.

Facilities

The airport does not have any facilities available for independent travelers. There are hangars on the threshold of runway 11 that support aerial spraying and ultralight aircraft. For food and other services, there are corner stores in the airport neighborhood. Laurel village services can be reached within a 5-minute walk, and offer food, lodging, taxi, and miscellaneous services.
The runway is on the southwest edge of the village. The Coto 47 non-directional beacon is located north-northwest of Laurel Airport. The David VOR-DME is located east of the airport.
