Lawrence Wolfe


Lawrence Wolfe was an American football coach and basketball coach. He served as the head coach in both sports at Western Oregon University and Linfield College.
Wolfe served as the head football coach at Linfield from 1926 to 1927, compiling a record of 8–7–2. He then served as the Western Oregon head coach from 1928 to 1934, earning a record of 41–13–4.
During his time at Western Oregon, he is credited with inspiring the school's "Wolf" mascot.
