The Legislative Assembly of Amur Oblast is the legislative and representative unicameral public authority of Amur Oblast, and is the constantly operating highest and only regulatory authority of the area. Following the results of elections in Legislative assembly of the VI convocation four political parties won seats: United Russia – 17 places, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia – 8 places, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation – 8 places, A Just Russia – 3 places.
