On 1 March 2018, a 48-year-old construction worker fell from a raised working platform 2.5 metres above the ground, while working in a tunnel connecting to Lentor station. The accident happened at 3.35am, and the worker was employed to dismantle components of tunnel boring machines, following the completion of tunnelling works.
