Leon Michels
Leon Michels is an American producer and multi-instrumentalist know for his work with El Michels Affair, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, and Big Crown Records. Additionally, he has recorded for artists such as for Lana Del Rey, Dr. John, Action Bronson, and he frequently collaborates with Dan Auerbach. Michels has played with groups such as the blues-rock duo The Black Keys, hip-hop group The Wu Tang Clan, soul singer Charles Bradley, and is a founding member of The Arcs and Menahan Street Band
As a producer, Michels has produced records for artists such as Lee Fields, Chicano Batman, Nicole Wray, The Carters, Hanni El Khatib, Marco Benevento, and Don Toliver.
