Leslie Irvine (sociologist)
Leslie Jane Irvine is an American sociologist specialising in conceptions of the self and human-animal relationships. She is currently a professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she has worked since 1998. She was educated at Palm Beach Junior College, Florida Atlantic University and State University of New York at Stony Brook.Select bibliography
