Linus Shashipapo Secondary School


Linus Shashipapo Secondary School, founded 1974, is the oldest school in the former Kavango Region of Namibia. It is named after Linus Shashipapo, Hompa of the Gciriku from 1945 to 1984. Notable alumni of the school are John Mutorwa, Minister of Agriculture, Water and Forestry, Elijah Ngurare, Secretary of the SWAPO Party Youth League. Samuel Mbambo, Governor of Kavango East Region, Marius Kudumo, and Markus Kampungu, chairperson of the Public Service Commission of Namibia.
