The Boston Bruins are a professional ice hockey team based in Boston, Massachusetts. They are members of the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League and are one of the Original Six teams of the league. Founded in 1924, it is the league's third-oldest team and is the oldest in the United States, with the 2019–20 season marking the 96th year for the franchise. As of the end of their 2017–18 season, the Bruins have won 3,115 regular season games, accumulated 25 division championships and 4 conference championships, led the league in points 13 times, appeared in the playoffs 71 times, and won six Stanley Cup titles.
