List of Districts in the Maryland House of Delegates


The Maryland General Assembly consists of 47 districts, each one electing a state senator and 3 delegates. Members of both houses serve four-year terms. Each house elects its own officers, judges the qualifications and election of its own members, establishes rules for the conduct of its business, and may punish or expel its own members.
The following is a list of the 47 Districts in the Maryland House of Delegates. Some districts are divided into 2 or 3 subdistricts for electing delegates.
