List of National Football League head coaches with 50 wins
In professional American football, the National Football League gives the head coach credit for his team's win–loss record. As of the 2019 season, 104 coaches, about 20%, have won 50 or more games.
Former head coach Don Shula holds the records for most wins with 347 and the most regular season wins with 328. Prior to Shula, the records for most wins and regular season wins were held by Chicago Bears founder George Halas with 324 and 318, which are the most with a single franchise. Bill Belichick has the most wins and the most regular season wins among active head coaches with 304 and 273, and holds the record for most playoff wins at 31.
