This is a list of places named after Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. Most of the places are in the United States and are named after Canton, the more common romanisation for the city in the 19th and the bulk of the 20th century. Many places are named after Canton because they are believed to be the antipode of Guangzhou, but none of them is close. The antipode of Guangzhou is rather in Argentina in South America.
