Lord Reims Stakes


The Lord Reims Stakes is a South Australian Jockey Club Group 3 Thoroughbred horse race for horses aged three years old and older, over a distance of 2600 metres at Morphettville Racecourse in Adelaide, Australia in March. Total prizemoney is A$120,000.

History

The race was renamed in 2010 to Lord Reims Stakes after Lord Reims, who won this race in 1988 and 1989 and also winning the Adelaide Cup three consecutive times between 1987-1989. The event is a traditional lead-up race to the Adelaide Cup.
