Lotpot

• Motu Patlu - Two friends, one fat and another slim, who were shown being involved in silly plots and were shown as idiots. The supporting characters with them were Master Ghasita Ram, Dr. Jhatka, Chela Ram, Dhela Ram and Anguthanand. Kripa Shankar Bhardwaj was the creator of these characters. Most of the post-Bhardwaj features of Motu-Patlu in Lot-Pot were created by Harvind Makkad.
• Chacha Chaudhary, the famous and legendary cartoon character of Hindi comic strip, was created by Pran Kumar Sharma in 1969 for Lotpot magazine, though it made its first appearance in 1971 in Lotpot.
• There were other comic strips, in the magazine of characters like Jasoos Chakram & Chirkoot, Deepu, etc.
