Love You So Much is the Fifth Mandarin studio album by Hong Kong singer Kelly Chen. It was released on April 20, 2000 through Go East Entertainment Company Ltd/ Decca Records in Hong Kong and Taiwan. It peaked at number 1 for 1 week, stayed on the IFPI Taiwan Album Chart for 9 weeks, and sold over 200,000 copies in ten days in Taiwan
Six singles were released from the album. The lead single, "Hey, Anyone Out Here? " is a Psychedelic soul song which was released on Sept 10, 1999. it was so audacious to release this genre as First single then,Because Taiwan People mainly listen to Taiwan traditional Sentimental ballad songs. Obviously,This single was not successful,old-fashioned people did not accept it at that time. The follow-up, "If You Really Love Me ", is a Sentimental ballad song. This single could not hold people's attention,It was another flopped single from the project.

Composition

Love You So Much is a pop ballads record. It is primarily composed of pop songs. Musically, the album integrates pop with influences from many different genres, including sentimental ballad, psychedelic soul, acid house and electronica.
Lyrically, most of the songs from the album principally talk about breakup and longing for love.
