Lower Body Poets
The Lower Body Poets are a movement of poets in China in the early 21st century. Among them are Yin Lichuan and Shen Haobo. Maghiel van Crevel describes their work as "sit at the earthy end of the spectrum" of post Mao poetry in China, but strongly connected to older Chinese poetry and as "hip and disaffected" but still expressing "social concern".
Other Lower Body Poets are Li Hongqi, Li Shijiang, Xuanyuanshike, Wu Ang, Duo Yu, Ma Fei, and Zhu Jian.
