Luísa Sonza


Luísa Gerloff Sonza is a Brazilian singer-songwriter.

Career

Sonza began singing at the Centro de Tradições Gaúchas of her city at the age of 7, until she was hired by the Sol Maior Band, where she worked as a performer until her teenage years.
In 2014, she created her own YouTube channel where she began to cover covers of songs by various artists, which made Luísa gain visibility on the Internet, being called Queen of Covers by the public, making 24 shows for approximately 40 thousand people.
In May 2017 Sonza signed with the Universal Music label that released her first authorial song called Good Vibes. In July, she released her second single, Olhos Castanhos, a song she did in honor of her husband Whindersson Nunes. In October, she released her first self-titled EP and the song Não Preciso De Você Pra Nada with the participation of Brazilian singer Luan Santana, this song was part of her EP.
In January 2018 she released the single Rebolar, music that is part of her first EP, the song was in 1st place in the videos on YouTube. In March the EP Rebolar with 5 remixed tracks of the song was released.
In June she made a special guest appearance in an episode of the series Dr. Darci playing Julinha. In July she released the single Devagarinho, which was her first song to enter the TOP 50 of Spotify Brazil.
In October 2018, she was invited by the author Aguinaldo Silva to record the song Nunca Foi Sorte written by him for the soundtrack of the telenovela "O Sétimo Guardião", being also invited for a special participation in a chapter of the novel. In December the singer released the song as a single and music video.
In November she released the single Boa Menina. In February 2019 the song won a forró version clip which featured the participation of Whindersson Nunes.
In March 2019 she released her new single Pior Que Possa Imaginar. Later that year, Sonza released her first álbum, Pandora.

Personal life

In August 2016, Whindersson Nunes asked Luisa to be his girlfriend In March 2017, they got engaged. In February 2018, they were married in a civil and religious ceremony for 350 guests, in the Capela dos Milagres, located on the Ecological Route of Miracles in Alagoas, Brazil.
In interviews, Sonza said she is very vain and intends to adopt children instead of having biological ones.
In April 2020 both Luisa and Whindersson Nunes posted on their instagram that they separated.
