Lynsey Askew
Lynsey Riann Frances Askew is an English cricketer who has played for England in One-Day International matches and international Twenty20 cricket.
At the age of 20, she scored fifty runs in an ODI against New Zealand in the 2006/07 quad series in India. Askew is also a bowler, taking 2/38 against India in the quad series.
In 1995, at the age of 9, Askew, together with some friends, started a ladies team at Hayes Cricket Club. She attended Hayes School.
Lynsey along with Isa Guha shares the world record partnership for the 9th wicket in Women's ODI history.
Her partner is former Australian vice-captain Alex Blackwell.
