Mérk Mérk is a village in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, in the Northern Great Plain region of eastern Hungary .Geography It covers an area of and has a population of 2073 people.The village of Mérk is situated southeast of the Hungarian town Nyíregyháza.
