Mārtiņš Hartmanis
Mārtiņš Hartmanis - military officer from Latvia. He was born on October 18, 1882 in Courland Governorate and died on July 27, 1941 in Moscow. He graduated from the Vilnius Military School. He was awarded the Cross of Valour, the Order of Polonia Restituta, the Knight fourth class of the Order of Saint Anna, the Order of Saint Anna, 2nd class, the Legion of Honour, the Order of Saint Anna, 3rd class, the Order of the Three Stars, the Order of Saint Stanislaus, 2nd class, the Order of Saint Stanislaus, 3rd class, the Order of Lāčplēsis.
