Maaz Moeed


is a playback singer of Pakistan. 'Lab-e-Darya' was the first drama serial of Maaz as a playback singer, which was televised in 2003. Music Director Niaz Ahmed introduced him as a playback singer. One of the popular ghazal from the Drama was "Chand Nikle Kisi Jaanib Teri Zebai Ka". Teri Paayal is his first video songs televised in 2004.
Aaja is his debut album. It was released in April 2008 under the label of The Musik.

History

Maaz Moeed was born in Karachi. He is a Business Administration graduate from PIMSAT Karachi, Pakistan.
Maaz wrote and composed his first song at 13 "Pucho Hum Se" and at 16, Maaz Moeed was invited to perform in Singing Competition Show on Pakistan Television Karachi Center in 1999 and he won first prize in that show. Maaz Moeed recorded his first song in 2002 named "Allahu" when he was 19 and from that song he introduced himself as a Singer/Songwriter & Composer. His First English Song is Never I fall in Love and from that song he Introduced his Western Vocals abilities and he also produced that song.
Maaz describes himself as a big fan of Jim Reeves, Cliff Richard, Elvis Presley, Don Williams, Andy Williams, Manna Dey, Mohd Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Sonu Nigam, Habib Wali Mohammad, Alamgir, Sajjad Ali, Michael Jackson, Tom Jones and Adnan Sami.
