Skopje Fest 2011

Skopje Festival 2011 was a song contest organized by MRT that served as Macedonia's national final to select their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011.

Competing entries

A submission period for interested artists and composers to submit their entries was opened on 10 January 2011. Songs were required to be performed by national citizens of Macedonia. MRT received 88 submissions at the close of the deadline, and 20 entries were chosen for the national final.
After the list was released, Nade Talevska withdrew from the competition due to overseas arrangements. Dule i Koki also withdrew from the competition, explaining that Skopje Fest is rigged. It was later announced that "Kukuriku" performed Rok Agresori and "Posledna pesna" performed by Amir Ibrahimovski & Art Sound would participated in the national selection instead.
