It was then placed on loan to Ian Welch in 1991. It was then transferred to Middleton behind J 1211 on 29 July 1995. In September in the same year it was given a temporary boiler ticket for the 1995 Waipara Vintage Festival at the Weka Pass Railway where it was on display in steam. Stored until 2005 when restoration commenced. |
