Maitlan Brown

Maitlan Joy Brown is an Australian cricketer who plays as an all-rounder for the ACT Meteors and the Melbourne Renegades. In April 2017, she toured Sri Lanka with the Australia A squad, and in August that year she was one of eight players named in Cricket Australia’s inaugural Women’s National Performance squad.
In November 2018, she was named in the Melbourne Renegades' squad for the 2018–19 Women's Big Bash League season. In April 2019, Cricket Australia awarded her with a contract with the National Performance Squad ahead of the 2019–20 season.
Off the field, Brown has generated some notoriety for a skill that has been described as "bizarre", namely her ability to speak and sing with her mouth shut. Brown has said that she taught herself that skill as a child, while sitting in the car on long road trips with her family.
