Malika Zouhali-Worrall
Malika Zouhali-Worrall is a British-Moroccan documentary filmmaker, best known as one of the directors, with Katherine Fairfax Wright, of the 2012 film Call Me Kuchu.
Zouhali-Worrall's second feature-length documentary "Thank You For Playing", co-directed and edited with David Osit won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Arts and Culture Documentary. The film was an Independent Television Service co-production, about the making of the art house video game "That Dragon, Cancer". It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2015, and was broadcast on POV in Fall 2016. Zouhali-Worrall and Osit also directed and edited "Games You Can't Win," a short film inspired by the feature for The New York Times Op-Docs.
She studied English literature at Cambridge University and International Affairs at Sciences Po, and later became a reporter and videographer for cnn.com.
Zouhali-Worrall is married to Wired journalist Andy Greenberg.
