Mallory Souliotis


Mallory Souliotis is an American ice hockey defender, currently playing for the Boston Pride in the NWHL.

Career

Across four seasons with Yale, Souliotis put up 70 points in 117 games. In her senior year, she led all Ivy League defenders in scoring, and became known for her powerful shot.
Souliotis was drafted 8th overall by the Pride in the 2017 NWHL Draft. On the 1st of March 2018, she signed her first professional contract with the team, and played the remaining two games of the NWHL season. In her first full season with the Pride, she would score 6 points in 14 games, finishing in the top 10 of the league for plus/minus. She was awarded the 2019 NWHL Foundation Award.
In May 2019, Souliotis originally joined the PWHPA and its boycott of the upcoming season. She had previously spoken out in favour of the 2017 US Women's National Team boycott. By June, however, she changed her mind and re-signed with the Pride. In her third season, she would score 16 points in 22 games, as the Pride finished first in the league.

Personal life

Souliotis has a degree in biomedical engineering, and works in oncology research.
